This type of device is mainly used to set a stay from a high flight. A statement which is begun seriously but gradually. It ends with very light sense. It means “Beginning seriously buy ending lightly”. Anti-Climax is also called ” Bathos”. Bathos that means sudden fall from elevated to common thought.
As we design the common sense of Anti-climax looks against the sense of Climax. Indeed in Anti-climax, we finally get a result quite opposite of our thinking. Whatsoever we think for the statement or action, result come up just opposite and make us surprise for an uncalculated situation.
